If you don't already have a PDF reader, download Adobe Acrobat Reader®.

Adobe Acrobat Reader®  is a free document reader program.

Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) is a global standard for sending and printing documents.   Anyone who has a PDF reader can open a view a PDF document.  Adobe distributes its reader free.  You will  need the reader to view and print  the documents I have made for you.  If you have not already installed the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader, go to the Adobe site and download the reader.

If you don't already have a PDF Generator, download CUTEPDF ™ or PDF995.

You will be answering questions on paper just as you would in classroom. In a  classroom, I would collect the papers, make my comments on them, and then return them to you. In this on-line class, you will be sending me electronic copies of your handwritten work.

You will need to scan the work to make an electronic copy of it and then convert it into a PDF file. Most scanners come with a PDF converter program.

If you do not have a PDF converter, it's time to get  one.  There are numerous inexpensive and free PDF converter programs available. Once installed, they show up as a printer option on your printer list. Instead of printing to a real printer, you "print" an electronic PDF file which can be attached to an e-mail.

Here are two popular PDF file converters.

CUTEPDF the regular version is free.

PDF995 is free with banner advertising, or $10 without the banner ads.
